Career Change

Effectively immediately, I will no longer be taking any gunsmithing/gunmaking work, in order that I may concentrate on my watchmaking career.  I have not come to this decision lightly.  The reality is that I can no longer serve two masters, so I choose the path that is more personally, creatively and intellectually rewarding.

All gun work that has been started will be finished, to my usual standards, in as timely a manner as possible.

This also means that there will be no further posts on this blog.

Wanted: Ithaca Knick 7E SBT

I have a friend in search of an Ithaca Knick, Grade 7E SBT.  It must be mint (the dictionary definition) or very nearly so.  If you have such a gun that you no longer shoot and want to see it go to a good home, contact me by phone or email, with photos.  If it's up to snuff, I'll put you two together to make whatever deal works for both parties.

New Contact Information

After the fiber optic upgrade snafu that cost me a week of internet service, as well as the phone number I've had for twenty-five years, my service is back.  I could go into great detail but, suffice it to say, Kinetic/Windstream has set a new standard for incompetence, which is why I'm no longer a customer.

The new number is: +1-717-807-4124.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Sincerely,

Dewey
